I attended a wonderful workshop this weekend. It was "The Mysterious Kundalini," with Thomas Ashley-Farrand at Pathways New Age Bookstore in St. Louis.
Events kicked off with a Fire Puja (Lalita of a 1000 Powers). This was an actual Vedic Puja and the first Vedic Ceremony of any kind I had every attended. Even though much of the ritual was in Sanskrit, it was very moving and meaningful.Saturday and Sunday we met from 9-6 with a break for lunch.
The classes focused on the Great Feminine and how that principle is so very basic in Vedic Hinduism.
I am now adding Vedic Hinduism to my study list.
